Start a dialogue here? cmiper 1 year ago: This looks about the same size as the old version of the 17-35 (which I love), have you tried shooting with the built in flash without the hood on the lens...do you get the shadow of the lens in the photo? Dialogue cmiper 1 year ago: No problem...I was just curious because I was not aware and had the lens on my film camera, did a whole shoot for a band (in a small area) and found out after that the wide shots got the shadow from flash. Now with the digital, I can see it and adjust, so it's not as big a deal. peppeg 1 year ago: cmiper i can say that i friend of mine has the same "shadow" with a Canon 400d and this lens...
