A Blurry Ode To An Eclipse
I gave it a shot. I failed. It's over-exposed, blurry, and just sucky all around. And I broke a perfectly good UV filter when I was taking it off the lens so I could attempt this shot. Woe is me.

Well, when you use a UV filter at night, it can cause a ghosting effect. But, that said, your photo came out a billion times better than mine, so I don't think you need to worry about it. :)

considering the self punishment you already gave yourself this should be part of yer very favs collection! I like it, constrast is nice, blur is not noticeable. above all the shot tells me that you were there to try to capture the moment and you didn't stop due to a lack of a telescope!, well done!
